R & T (the record and tape company, sometimes known as RTC) was launched at a cocktail party in may 1973 as part of the "comunico" music division of the south african media behemoth satbel with Robin Taylor (ex-of decca and teal records) at the helm.
Its further history remains unknown at this time but what is known is that parent company satbel was sold in 1984 and reorganised.
